Spring Transfer NOA Congrats on your recent admission to Illinois! You are officially a part of the Illinois Legacy. If youre wondering what to do next, here are the next steps to enrollment! 1. Accept your offer. First, youll need to accept your offer through your myIllini account. Note that you must also submit a nonrefundable enrollment fee when you do this. Once you accept your offer, you will have access to each part of your Admitted Student Checklist. We understand the importance of making an informed decision, so take the time you need to make sure Illinois is the right place for you. 2. Complete your Admitted Student Checklist. Second, you will make your way through your Admitted Student Checklist. This checklist is personalized to your transfer process, and on it you can preview and manage all of the necessary steps to enrollment. You will be able to claim your NetID, sign up for New Student Registration, decide on tuition and billing payment options, and learn about what documents you need to submit. Also included in your myIllini account is yourtransfer evaluation report. Through this report, you will learn how many transfer credit hours you have, how your courses will transfer to Illinois, and your current GPA. You can useour sample as a guide in understanding your own transfer evaluation report. 3. Keep up the good work! The third step is to stay successful. It is a condition of your admission that you maintain your grades for your final semester before transferring. You can start preparing for Illinois, but don’t lose sight of the classes you are in now! 4. Find housing. Your fourth step is very important. As a transfer student, you may have the option to live in off-campus housing if you have more than 30 transferable credit hours (when you enroll) or have lived on campus in university housing at another institution for one year. Youshould consult with the Housing Information Office before signing a lease to ensure you meet the requirements to live off campus. If you want to live on campus, your options include bothUniversity HousingorPrivate Certified Housing. Two of our halls,ScottandBousfield, include communities specifically for transfers. If you plan to live off campus,The Off-Campus Community Living officecan help you find apartments and houses and even review leases. 5. Send in your final grades. Dont forget the fifth step! We will need your grades from this fall, so make a mental note or mark it on your calendar to have your current institution send them once you finish this semester.
